My journey began as The Boxed Party, a passion project born during the tumultuous year of 2020. With the world in need of joy and connection, I set out to make sure no special moment went unnoticed. And thus, my adventure in crafting extraordinary events took flight.
Let me introduce myself a little better. I'm Alexa, the mastermind behind Eventful by Alexa. I believe in the power of celebrations to bring joy and create lasting memories. My mission in life? To make people happy! There's nothing more gratifying than taking a vision and turning it into a beautiful, unexpected reality.

When I'm not sprinkling magic on events, you can find me indulging in a few of my favorite things. I've been a proud vegetarian for over 12 years, and my heart melts for animals. Keep an eye out for Bud, my Pomeranian, who frequently graces our social media with his adorable presence. He's the king of blueberries and pup cups during our Eventful adventures.
My hobbies include exploring new places, diving into the pages of a captivating book, and yes, retail therapy! When I'm not in the office, you'll likely spot me exploring the enchanting North Fork or basking in the sunshine with a cup of coffee in hand.

Alexandra, or better known by us as Alex, has always had a huge passion for events and had always dreamed of becoming an event planner – that’s exactly what she did! Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management from Johnson & Wales University. After graduating, she started her career as an Event Assistant in the Hamptons. She then relocated to Jacksonville, Florida to gain experience as a Catering Coordinator for a Yacht & Country Club. Alex eventually found her way back to Long Island and joined the Eventful team!
Alex is an immensely big asset to our team. She assists in the planning process behind the scenes, from drafting floor plans, vendor communication, and ensuring every task is completed with detail. You will also see her on the event day, coordinating a seamless execution and exquisite set up.
When I am not planning events, I love to workout, go for walks with friends and explore local restaurants and coffee shops. What a dream it has been to have gained so much knowledge and experience from different places on the East Coast. I now get to take these skills that I have learned to a greater scale, and work for Eventful by Alexa. Being a team player, getting creative, and staying organized are some of my greatest assets when it comes to planning events. What was once my dream growing up, is now my reality and making people feel celebrated is what it’s all about!

Events bring together families for celebration, and this business is no different! Gianna is our office administrator, and Alexa’s sister. Gianna has been working with ‘Eventful by Alexa’ since the day it opened and has worn many different hats since then. She well versed in the events industry after watching the company grow over the past 3 years. Gianna is currently in school working to earn her master’s in Psychology at Adelphi University. Her knowledge in the world of mental health allow her to be the most compassionate person on an event day. She has a knack for creating a calm environment, and knows the best way to get a party started with her silly and quirky personality.
Gianna runs the day of office operations by managing the team schedule, organizing important event day paperwork, and placing inventory orders. She is also the one who kicks off the client onboarding process by creating a seamless experience from the start.
My best assets to the event industry are my bubbly personality and go-getter work ethic. Since I have been with Alexa since day one, I can bounce around to many areas on the event day to help problem solve. No task is outside of my comfort zone! I like to pride myself on keeping things fun and smooth sailing on event days. In my free time I enjoy spending time in the sun, reading thriller/romance novels, and spending time with my friends.

The ‘Eventful by Alexa’ team wouldn’t be complete without our event stylists! Our event stylists are built of many friendly faces, and team players who help execute the event vision on the day of. They execute many detail oriented tasks such as installing balloon decor, setting intricate tablescapes, assembling favors, cleaning up at the end of the celebration, amongst so many other tasks we could never do without their help. Our team of event stylists are the backbone to helping us execute a stunning event & seamless set up!
